Decoration of our symbol

Over the centuries, the Turkmen people paid special tribute to their heavenly horses, protecting and improving them. During the heyday of our sovereign state, the glory of the Turkmen horse was raised by the unprecedented efforts of our Hero Arkadag, a true admirer and patron of our horses, considered an example of beauty and speed. The fact that the image of the legendary Yanardag, which had no equal in its time in beauty and speed, adorns the State Emblem of our country, indicates that there is no substitute for heavenly horses. The Akhal-Teke horse was also the main target of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in 2017 in the capital Ashgabat.

The creation of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Sports Association on the initiative of our President Arkadag, the construction of a modern equestrian sports complex in all parts of the country, as well as the grand celebration of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse on the last Sunday of April every year. year This year, at the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan, "Turkmenistan is the Motherland of Peace and Faith", for the first time, the National Day of the Turkmen Horse will be celebrated simultaneously with the Day of the Turkmen Horse. On the occasion of the double celebration, various events will be intertwined: competitions, conferences, sports competitions, exhibitions. This is a vivid evidence that during the period of prosperity of our sovereign state, respect for national values is growing from year to year.
