The oil refining plan at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries complex of the Turkmenbashi State Concern was implemented by 108.6 percent in the last ten months of 2025. This was reported in the Nebit-gaz newspaper .

During this period, the production plan for gasoline was 107.5 percent, the plan for diesel fuel was 100.7 percent. High performance was also achieved in the production of polypropylene, lubricants, and liquefied gas.

As noted in the report, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the capacity increase and reconstruction of the gas turbine power plant in the complex of factories was carried out by the Turkish company "Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş." As a result, the capacity of the facility was increased to 196.4 megawatt hours by constructing 2 new gas turbine plants. Also, the reconstruction of the 1st and 2nd main step-down power plants in the complex was carried out with the participation of Chinese specialists.

In 2025, a new third berth for loading and unloading oil and oil products was built and put into operation at the Kerar Grouping and Loading Oil Company of the plant complex. The new facility, built in accordance with the contract concluded between the British company Petro Gas LLP and the plant complex, has an annual capacity of 2 million 60 thousand tons for loading oil products and 1 million 150 thousand tons for unloading crude oil and oil products.

Currently, in order to improve the living and social conditions of employees working in the factory complex, based on the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the construction of 4 residential buildings, each with 40 apartments, is underway in the city of Turkmenbashi.
