Nearly a billion barrels of oil have accumulated in tankers in the world's oceans
Nearly 1 billion barrels of oil have accumulated in the seas and oceans since August, Bloomberg reported, citing data from Vortexa, Kpler and OilX .
The report states that a significant portion of this oil comes from sanctioned countries, with around 20 to 40 percent coming from Russia, Iran and Venezuela.
Bloomberg also notes that large quantities of " black gold" are being accumulated in tankers at the expense of countries that have not imposed sanctions, mainly Saudi Arabia , which is increasing the production and export of this expensive raw material.
