A nationwide garden planting event will be held in Turkmenistan on November 8th.

A nationwide tree planting event will be held in Turkmenistan on November 8. This large-scale ecological event will be held in all regions of the country. It is also planned to plant Turkmen juniper saplings during the event.

The organizers of this large-scale ecological event are the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, as well as the khyakimliks of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary Velayats, and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.

Such nationwide tree planting events are regularly held in Turkmenistan as part of state programs. The main goal of holding them is to transform the country into a grove of trees and improve the ecological situation.
