Students from Turkmenistan have developed a robot that can speak two languages.

Students of the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan demonstrated their robots as part of the international exhibition "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a New Era of Sovereignty", which is being held on the occasion of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Altyn Asyr" .

Resul Nurmammedov and Orazsakhet Atamyradov, 2nd and 4th year students of the university, have invented a robot that speaks two languages, Russian and English, and has the ability to conduct limited question-and-answer conversations. Written in the Python programming language, the robot is connected to a mobile phone and runs on a battery. It can talk, walk, turn its head in the direction of sound, and move its hands.

The Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan organizes a number of scientific and practical conferences and study tours based on the Memorandum of Understanding concluded with the Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Caspian Institute of Sea and River Transport named after General-Admiral F.M.Apraksin of Astrakhan, and Sanway University.

The signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the educational institution and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam) during the exhibition added to this list.
