President of Uzbekistan congratulates head of Turkmenistan on his birthday by phone
Today, a telephone conversation was held between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the conversation, the President of Uzbekistan congratulated his Turkmen counterpart on his birthday, wishing him good health, happiness and success in his work for the benefit of Turkmenistan and its people, TDH reports.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also conveyed greetings to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noting his contribution to the development of interstate relations. In response, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude for the congratulations and emphasized the high level of relations between the two countries, which successfully interact in various fields, including agriculture, electric power, oil and gas and chemical industries.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the importance of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and the development of inter-parliamentary relations. At the end of the conversation, the heads of state wished each other health and success, and peace and prosperity to the peoples of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
