A water treatment plant with a capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters per day has opened in the Balkan region
The grand opening of a new water treatment facility with a desalination unit took place in the Esenguli district of the Balkan province. The facility's design capacity is 20 thousand cubic meters of drinking water per day, according to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The facility was commissioned by the Capital Construction Department of the Balkan velayat hakimlik and constructed by specialists from the “Hossarlyk” Economic Society. Its commissioning coincides with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
The opening ceremony was attended by responsible officials of the velayat and etrap hakimliks, honorary elders of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of the “Balkanwelaýatagyzsuw” association.
Within the framework of the ceremony's gala, cultural and artistic figures performed a concert and dance program for the ceremony's participants, the publication notes.
