Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a government meeting via videoconference. According to the news program "Watan," the meeting summarized the government's performance for the first nine months of this year.

Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, reported on the results of the national parliament's work to strengthen the state's legislative framework in January-September of this year.

The President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of further developing the country and improving its legal framework. The head of state emphasized the need to continue working to improve national legislation.

The Deputy Prime Ministers presented reports on the work of the agencies they supervise for the first nine months of this year, including on macroeconomic indicators of the national economy, achievements, measures being implemented to further develop industries and their results, the fulfillment of instructions previously given by the head of state, as well as on issues of foreign policy and international relations.

The head of state heard the reports and gave the relevant leaders specific instructions and directions regarding the work being carried out in various complexes and sectors of the national economy, upcoming events, and tasks for the development of the sectors.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressing the cabinet members, noted that the results of work for the first nine months of this year demonstrate the successful implementation of the adopted programs.

"During the reporting period, GDP growth was 6,3 percent. Industrial and social facilities have been commissioned across the country, economic reform continues, and manufacturing industries are being consistently modernized," the head of state said.

The President of Turkmenistan also emphasized the importance of continuing to work on the country's further socio-economic development and improving the standard of living of its citizens.
