As previously reported, today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a comprehensive meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, which was also attended by the mayors of the regions and the city of Ashgabat.

As reported in the "Watan" news program, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the leaders participating in the meeting to establish a duty schedule in all services during the New Year holidays, to ensure the uninterrupted operation of public utilities, electricity and water supply services, medical and preventive institutions during the holidays. The Head of State also instructed to further ensure the abundance of various goods in markets and shops, to organize cultural performances for the well-being of citizens during the holidays, to ensure the normal operation of public transport in cities and villages, and to monitor the strict observance of order everywhere during the New Year holidays.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan cordially congratulated everyone on the new year 2026 and wished great success in the work they will undertake in the coming year to further improve the living conditions of the Turkmen people and develop a sovereign state.
