The National Leader of the Turkmen people congratulated the President of Turkmenistan

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gahryman Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow,  sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow from New York, USA, on the occasion of the adoption of the Resolution entitled "Avaza Political Declaration" at the 18th plenary session of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. In the congratulatory letter published in the "Turkmenistan" newspaper,  the Chairman of the People's Council noted:

"Dearly respected President of Turkmenistan!

On behalf of the Turkmen people and the People's Council of Turkmenistan, I would like to sincerely congratulate you on the good news from New York, United States of America, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of our beloved Motherland - the adoption of the Resolution entitled "Avaza Political Declaration" at the 18th plenary session of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. I wish you good health, long life, and continued success in your state activities aimed at nurturing our Independent, Eternally Neutral State for further development and promoting the peace-loving foreign policy of our country to the world.

Dear President!

Under your leadership, the country has demonstrated in practice its commitment to friendly intergovernmental relations and a responsible approach to developing solutions to important issues on the regional and global agenda. The successful results of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held under your chairmanship in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, and the announcement of the Avaza Action Program for 2024-2034, which determines the strategic direction of the development of these countries for the next ten years, and the adoption of the Avaza Political Declaration during the conference are a vivid example of this, which further enhanced Turkmenistan's prestige as a country promoting peace, friendship, trust, and friendly cooperation on Earth. The good news that the UN General Assembly, co-authored by 57 states, adopted the Resolution entitled "Avaza Political Declaration" further strengthens the country's position in the international arena as a country that significantly contributes to the sustainable development of landlocked countries.

Your Excellency, President!

In your speech at the Awaza conference, you stated: “We, the United Nations, our friends and like-minded people from dozens of countries around the world, and reputable international organizations, express our views on the issues of developing countries with no access to the sea in Turkmenistan and ways to resolve them,” and you put forward important initiatives in the field of ecology, energy, water, medical diplomacy, and humanitarian cooperation. I firmly believe that these initiatives will contribute to the development of multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of common prosperity and progress, and to the humanization of international relations.

Dear President!

The International Year of Peace and Confidence, declared under your leadership, is an invitation to all countries to join efforts to build a strong and secure world and create a sustainable future for all. The unanimous adoption of the Resolution “Additional information on the procedure for holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries” at the 63rd plenary session of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, was also a clear example of the strategic nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN and a recognition of the country’s active participation in global affairs.

Our dear Hero Serdar of Arkadağ!

On behalf of the Turkmen people and the People's Council of Turkmenistan, I once again sincerely congratulate you on the unanimous adoption of the Resolution "Avaza Political Declaration" at the 18th plenary session of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. May you be healthy, have a long life, and may your initiatives of national and universal benefit continue to prosper! May the reputation and glory of our independent, permanent homeland on Earth remain even higher!"
