The closing ceremony of the IV International Chemistry Olympiad, held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, was held today, and the international scientific and practical conference "The role of innovative technologies in improving the methodology of teaching chemistry" organized in parallel with it was held. As noted by the speakers at the ceremony, a characteristic feature of the Olympiad was that, along with professors and scientists from higher educational institutions and scientific centers of the country, professors and scientists, doctoral candidates and masters from prestigious higher educational institutions and scientific centers of foreign countries served as judges.

At the end of the ceremony, students who successfully performed and showed excellent results at the IV International Chemistry Olympiad were awarded medals and diplomas. Professors and teachers who actively participated in the international scientific and practical conference were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.

The Olympiad was held individually at levels A and B, and students studying chemistry at level A and young people studying other specialties at level B competed with each other. The problems were prepared in accordance with the university curriculum in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry. Level A was conducted in written form, and level B was conducted in test form.

Thus, 63 prize places were determined in the A level, of which 14 winners won first place, 17 second place, and 32 third place. Also, 57 prize places were determined in the B level, of which 12 young people won first place, 17 second place, and 28 third place.
