Ships of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) closed joint-stock company are transporting pipes intended for the construction of the TAPI (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India) gas pipeline, Report reports, citing information from ASCO. The cargo transportation is carried out from the seaport of Baku to the international seaport of Turkmenbashi. The pipes are transported by ASCO's multi-purpose dry cargo vessels: Natavan, Rasul Rza, Garadag, Teymur Ahmedov and Maestro Niyazi. It is planned to transport 11,700 pipes to Turkmenistan by the end of the year via the aforementioned vessels.
