Ceremonies honoring mothers of many children will be held in Turkmenistan on International Women's Day.

At a government meeting on February 28, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on awarding mothers of many children the honorary title "Ene mähri".

Addressing members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the head of state noted the following:

"Our mothers play a huge role in preserving the sacred family hearth, raising sons and daughters with dignity, and further strengthening the unity of our society. Our dear mothers, who contribute to raising the authority of the sovereign Motherland with their selfless work, are highly respected in our independent state."

International Women's Day will be widely celebrated in the country, said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasizing the importance of organizing events to honor women awarded the honorary title of "Ene Myahri" and present them with keys to apartments, TDH reports.
