The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea held a briefing dedicated to the announcement of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust", as well as the upcoming 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. The event brought together representatives of diplomatic circles, experts and the media, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan Begench Durdyev presented his country's initiatives at the global level and spoke about the planned high-level events in honor of the anniversary of neutrality. Particular attention was paid to the Concept of priority areas within the framework of the "International Year of Peace and Trust".

The participants noted the symbolism of holding these events in 2025, which also marks the 80th anniversary of the UN and the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.

The briefing included a presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Magtymguly - Thinker of the World" and the work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Hakyda göwheri".

The guests were also presented with an exhibition of works by Turkmen leaders, samples of traditional clothing and decorative and applied arts. The event ended with a tasting of national dishes.
