Traditional Japanese artists arrive in Turkmenistan
Artists - outstanding masters of traditional Japanese music and dance - arrived in Turkmenistan. Ms. Ueda Chiho and Mr. Kikuchi Yutaka have already visited the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva, where they met with students and teachers.
During the meeting, master classes were given on playing the Japanese musical instrument shamisen, and a cultural exchange took place.
During the meeting, Turkmen students demonstrated playing the dutar and also tried their hand at playing the shamisen. This was reported on the social networks of the Japanese Embassy in Turkmenistan.
