The Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Vltugozel Gulmanova, had a meeting with the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Reinhold Lopatka. This is reported on the official website of the National Parliament.

As noted, during the meeting, Mejlis Speaker D. Gulmanova noted that development of cooperation with international organizations, including the OSCE, is one of the important directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, and that cooperation with this organization is being expanded in new directions.

At the meeting, the main directions of the global security strategy promoted by Turkmenistan, as well as the use of diplomatic tools and the importance of the culture of dialogue in solving various emerging international situations through political-diplomatic ways, were considered.

During the talks, it was emphasized that the activities of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe contribute closely to ensuring peace and security around the world, discussing important issues together and finding positive solutions.
