Elections in the country are the main source of democracy in the socio-political life of the country. At the same time, the right to vote is one of the basic political rights of citizens, which is associated with elections and election. At the initiative of the President, within the framework of improving the legislation on elections and elections, elections are organized taking into account international and national experience. Recently, on March 26, 2023, at the 18th polling station, located in the Marine Secondary Professional School, elections were held for deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, deputies of the People's Reforms of the velayat, members of etrap and city councils of people's representatives. 1702 people took part in these elections.
