A representative of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan was on an introductory study tour on "Reducing Methane Emissions" in Denver, Colorado, from October 30 to November 9, 2024, within the framework of the "Open World" program of the United States of America. This was announced on the official website of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
As mentioned in the report, during the visit, the installation of air conditioners in the places of methane emissions, as well as emission methane meters and integrated, innovative energy-saving technologies was introduced.
Also, a question-and-answer meeting was held about the current legislation in Colorado, the report states.
