The President of Turkmenistan had a meeting with the Federal Chancellor of Germany
Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, met with the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, within the framework of the second high-level meeting of the "Central Asia-Germany" format, which is being held in Astana. This was reported in the "Vatan" news program.
As noted, the interlocutors warmly greeted and expressed their satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss the important issues of effective intergovernmental cooperation, which is being successfully developed on the basis of trust and mutual respect.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the warm greetings of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, who has established effective cooperation between Turkmenistan and the FRG, to the head of the government of the friendly country, and during the "Central Asia-Germany" dialogue, a Turkmen-German bilateral meeting with the Federal Chancellor Olaf Schols. He expressed his confidence that it will contribute to the further strengthening of relations.
The head of the Government of the GDR expressed his warm greetings and best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has made a huge contribution to the development of Turkmen-German relations, as well as his prudent and far-sighted policy, which he promotes for the sake of global peace, security and sustainable development. He noted that his country is interested in further deepening the effective cooperation with Turkmenistan, which has gained a high international reputation as a result of its initiatives.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that importance is attached to the development and strengthening of bilateral relations with Germany, and said with satisfaction that the relations between the two countries are being developed on a regular and long-term basis. As noted, these relationships are based on a strong legal framework that includes 90 different agreements and contracts.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that mutual Economy Days, business meetings and economic exhibitions are regularly held, and highlighted the services of the Joint Turkmen-German Working Group and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy in developing intergovernmental cooperation.
