The President of Turkmenistan congratulated agricultural workers on Harvest Festival
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his compatriots and rural workers on the Harvest Festival, which is celebrated in the country on the second Sunday of November.
Below is the text of the congratulatory address, published by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
"Dear compatriots!
Selfless farmers!
I sincerely congratulate you on the Harvest Festival, which, in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, is solemnly celebrated in honor of the diligent work of farmers and the generous gifts of the abundant Turkmen land! I wish you good health, a happy and prosperous life, and great success in your work contributing to the development of the agricultural sector of the economy!
Harvest Festival signifies the immense respect shown in our independent, neutral Fatherland for the diligence and conscientious labor of our courageous people, as well as the boundless pride in the bountiful harvests our native land provides. Inspiring farmers to new achievements, this holiday expresses the state's respect for the impeccable, long-standing work of Turkmen farmers.
Dear compatriots!
Dear agricultural workers!
Effective measures are currently being taken to comprehensively develop the agricultural sector and significantly strengthen its material and technical infrastructure. This work also includes improving farming practices, introducing advanced technologies, and improving seed production. Progress is also being made in modernizing the livestock sector, including poultry farming, ensuring food abundance, rationalizing land and water use, and protecting the environment.
Thanks to their united efforts and the industry's coordinated work, our grain growers were able to deliver to the state over 1 million 400 thousand tons of select wheat grain this year, a source of abundance and prosperity for our people and beloved Fatherland.
Agricultural workers, through diligent and tireless labor, produce bountiful harvests on the fertile Turkmen soil, further enhancing food abundance. The state provides comprehensive support to courageous grain and cotton growers, enabling them to reap bountiful harvests. In this endeavor, farmers continually achieve new victories, which are impossible without dedication and conscientiousness.
Selfless workers of the village!
We will continue to create all the conditions necessary to ensure that those who have dedicated their experience, knowledge, and abilities to developing the agro-industrial complex—tenants, cotton growers, grain growers, machine operators, agronomists, plant breeders, melon growers, gardeners, and other specialists—can work productively and live in abundance, producing high yields through diligent labor. These measures include the regular purchase of modern machinery, equipment, and machinery, the provision of sufficient mineral fertilizers to improve soil fertility, and high-quality seeds. This also includes ensuring timely payments to producers for the harvested crop. Thus, the necessary efforts will be made to ensure that agricultural workers can work effectively, directly benefiting from the opportunities, support, assistance, and benefits provided by the state. In general, special attention will be paid to the proper recognition of the work of Turkmen farmers.
The state intends to continue to create the necessary conditions for a happy and prosperous life for courageous farmers who, through their conscientious labor, reap bountiful harvests from their native land.
Dedicated farmers!
Dear compatriots!
Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on the Harvest Festival, celebrated during the International Year of Peace and Trust in honor of the generous gifts of the abundant Turkmen land!
I wish you good health, family well-being, and great success in your work for the continued prosperity of our sovereign Fatherland, as you continue the agricultural traditions bequeathed by your ancestors! And may the bounty of the generous Turkmen land never run dry!
