Later, a meeting was held between Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and President of the United States of America Donald Trump, according to the "Watan" news program.
As noted, President Donald Trump warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation to participate in the "Central Asia + United States" summit.
The President of Turkmenistan thanked the President of the United States for the invitation to come to the White House for a meeting, as well as to participate in the summit, noting that this format opens up new opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in a wide range of areas. He also expressed confidence that the summit will be an important step towards developing the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the United States of America.
The Honorable President noted that, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, the year 2025 was declared the "Year of International Peace and Confidence" by the world community, and emphasized that the United States supported this initiative, and that Turkmenistan also attaches great importance to strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial relations with the United States of America.
At the end of the meeting, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and President of the United States of America Donald Trump expressed their willingness to further expand and deepen Turkmen-American cooperation in all key areas.
