The National Leader of the Turkmen people held a meeting of the organizing state committee

Today, a meeting of the state organizing committee was held to organize high-level events dedicated to the Year of International Peace and Confidence, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, reported the "Watan" news program.

During the meeting with the participation of government members, a wide range of organizational and economic activities related to international events were discussed. Speaking about the issues to be considered by the organizational state group, Gahryman Arkadag said that the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality is approaching, and this holiday will be widely celebrated in a festive atmosphere. Noting that international events are regularly held in the country and in the countries of the world in honor of the Year of International Peace and Confidence and the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that the representative forum of the International Year of Peace and Confidence, which will be held on December 12 of this year, will play an important role in popularizing the peace-loving doctrine of Turkmenistan throughout the world.

Noting that every effort must be made to hold this international event and the festivities at the highest level and that a worthy contribution must be made to these noble causes, Gahryman Arkadag  listened to reports from relevant leaders on the work being done in this area in the structures under their supervision.

As noted in them, a program of events in honor of the International Year of Peace and Confidence and the Day of Neutrality has been developed. In accordance with it, large-scale celebrations in honor of the remarkable date will be held. In particular, a high level of cultural and social services will be provided for guests participating in international events. Also, work will be expanded to form a group of volunteers who will work during the holidays and select exemplary young teachers and active students for it. At the same time, great attention will be paid to providing participants in international events with high-level communication and Internet capabilities.

Gahryman Arkadag, after listening to the reports, noted that a comprehensive approach should be taken to the highly organized celebration of the remarkable anniversary, and gave advice and guidance in this regard.
