Winners of international economics and philosophy Olympiads were awarded in Ashgabat

Today, the awards ceremony for the winners of the international economics and philosophy Olympiads, which took place from October 20 to 24, was held in the main conference hall of the International University for Humanities and Development.

Students from universities in Turkmenistan and abroad participated in the Olympiads.

The Olympiad was held as an individual competition in categories A and B in Turkmen, English, and Russian.

The International Economic Olympiad was attended by 438 students from 25 Turkmen universities and 615 students from 30 universities in 13 foreign countries: the Republic of Bulgaria, Romania, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Cuba, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Russian Federation. Of the 1053 participants, 262 won prizes and were awarded medals and special certificates. Turkmen students won 148 medals.

The International Philosophy Olympiad was attended by 480 students from 25 Turkmen universities and 119 students from 21 universities in 13 foreign countries: the United States, the Republic of Poland, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Romania, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Russian Federation. A total of 599 students participated.

Of the 599 participants, 251 took prizes and were awarded medals and special certificates. Turkmen students won 208 medals.
